Complete refurbishment of weir Drakenburg and Petershagen (Drakenburg and Petershagen)

The Drakenburg weir system had to be re-assessed statically with regard to short-term continued use due to its general state of deterioration and the damage identified in the course of an inspection by WSV.

For this purpose, the as-built documentation was reviewed pursuant to the TbVS memo and the former load and computation approaches were re-assessed. The damage identified was consequently remedied in accordance with a refurbishment plan and implementation.

In this respect, an auxiliary installation structure (bracing) was designed to support the gate and the en-closure (PAH/asbestos site).
