Hydro-mechanical steel structures
To date, IRS has planned and implemented several hundred hydraulic steel structures for Germany, Europe, Africa, Asia, America and Australia. In the process, numerous pioneering developments in hydraulic steel construction have been decisively influenced and shaped.
The hydraulic steel structures are constructed and designed both in the tidal area of the oceans (influences from salty water, brackish water, sand, silt, wave impact, etc.), in the area of influence of the high mountains (bed load, ice, snow, low temperature, etc.), in the area of influence of the desert (drifting sand, high temperature, etc.) and under the stress of earthquakes. Whenever concrete and steel have to withstand water, we plan your structural hydraulic engineering and hydraulic steel construction, from small to large systems, from new construction to repair.
Over the past decades, we have acquired particular expertise in the field of floating structures. With numerous reference projects in this area, IRS has extensive know-how in the calculation of floating stability, submersion behavior and buoyancy. This expertise is essential for the development and implementation of floating steel structures, which are used in various applications such as ports, offshore facilities and special projects.
Thanks to its many years of experience and technical innovation, IRS is a leading partner in hydraulic steel construction. With its comprehensive expertise and its ability to create robust and sustainable solutions even under extreme conditions, IRS makes an important contribution to the realization of modern and sustainable infrastructure projects worldwide.
